Just wanted to follow up with you on our phone conversations and thank you again for the samples from our Folsom Atlantic City show. I was finally given the opportunity to do some fishing and test the product personally. I mainly fish inshore so I was always curious as to the products inshore applications. I gotta say I am a believer.
For the close of snook season I found myself up visiting my brother in Sebastian and decided to spend an hour fishing the inlet from the north jetty with him. I had some bucktail jigs and two of the samples you gave me. We were both fishing the same bucktails but mine had the esca light.
For the hour that I was there,closely surrounded by 20 other jetty fisherman,I was the only one getting hits. I ended the night with 7 snook all overslot. After the first few bites I had guys coming up to me asking what I was using since I was the only one with any action while I was there. Many of the guys flipped out when I told them the price point but I tried to explain to them that many are willing to buy a $20 plus Sebile that doesn’t get half the action that the esca did. I think once people use the product and have success price will no longer be an issue.
Anyways,thanks again Pat for the follow up calls. I plan on making some time between Xmas and new years to do some more fishing so drop me a line and let me know how I can buy some samples from you. I need to make room in my box for a few esca’s.
I’ll continue to pass the word along about the product and am confident in its abilities and that it will be a success. I’ll also drop a note to some of the Folsom management about my thoughts on it.
Also I’ll work on getting 1 or 2 customers together to go out on a trip as we discussed.
