More fish –more fun

Use Esca® and join the fun!

My new favorite –I never leave the dock without it.

“I love this lure”. Read what Allison Miles at Bait &Tackle in MA has to say:

I wanted to send you a quick update on our results from using the Esca. It is one of my new favorites and I never leave the dock without it.

Currently Ron Powers is leading the MA State Fishing Derby for the Men’s division for winter flounder. He used the Esca.

He told me about it,I used it and guess what….I am leading the women’s division for Winter Flounder. I will let you know at the end of the year if we won. We’ll make sure to get a picture and send it to you at the awards ceremony. J

Also I have been dabbling in night time fishing and so far, biggest one while using the Esca was a 30+ pound Striped Bass. I Love this Lure!!!!

Escapades:Don´t go without it!

Ron Powers:“In short order, the Esca advantage has become apparent to me in nearly every facet of New England Fishing. On cod trips, this thing whipped fellow deck-mates,on the flounder flats I took the biggest blackback of the year in the heavily fished Boston Harbor. The last gauntlet was our most prized gamefish of all –the striped bass. On nightime tides, when the cows come calling,we matched plugs with Escas to those without and it wasn’t even a contest, the lures with the Escas trounced the same lures without. No matter how you fish in New England you’re shortchanging yourself if you’re not attaching an Esca to your line!”

4th place fluke-masters tourney with Esca!

Dave Lilly does it again!

From on the Water Fishing Forecast – MA,NH,ME

We tweaked the Dannys in a manner that our forefathers would never have imagined. About 3 feet above the plug,we affixed an Esca bioluminescent light attractant. We mixed and matched colors but what worked on this night was the black Gibbs and the fading blue-lighted Esca. Not only is the Esca a striper magnet, but it helps with lure placement, since the glow of the light belies exactly where your offering is,so you can be sure your plug is in the edge of the rip – which is usually the strike zone.

THANK YOU FOR THIS PRODUCT!

I started using the Esca this year,I made a few modifications so it could be used fishing with artificial lures it took a few weeks to figure out a way to make it productive the way I fish for stripe bass in Massachusetts . I had Ron Powers from On The Water Magazine fishing with me. I am sending photos. I feel this product is going to be very helpful the way I am using it  and I am very pleased with the results I am having.  THANK YOU FOR THIS PRODUCT!

Another nice Swordfish

Key Largo,Florida september 4th 2010.
Captain Victor Franchini caught another nice Swordfish, this one is a nice 225lbs on Esca blue Fade.

Nice Dolphins

Capt.Walter Boname has caught a lot of nice Dolphins trolling with an Esca attached to the lure (mostly Ballyho rig).

Team Esca does it again …

…with Al Tumolo showing off another nice catch of fluke caught using Esca as documented in the star ledger blog.

Wayne Smith,at Hoffman’s Marina in Brielle,  didn’t have much good news from the canyon over the weekend, though some wahoo are starting to show out there. The best report was from the Impulse, which had a 50-pound wahoo and two albacore while also releasing an 80-pound swordfish. Some boaters caught school bluefins in the Compass Rose area, including Joe Vezzosi who weighed a 90-pounder.

Smith said fluking remains tough, but Capt. Bob Lake of Kimberly Ann had Ron Masseralli with him as both limited with fluke up to 8 pounds during the week at the Rattlesnake.

Capt. Joe Bogan has been scratching out some large fluke on rough bottoms in 60 to 90 feet with his Jamaica II from Brielle. Dale Isaacs of Manchester had a limit up to 5 pounds during the week. Saturday night bluefishing was good for 10-to-12-pounders,as fares averaged eight to 15 choppers.  The Jamaica II has openings on a 3 a.m. Sept. 7 cod trip.

The Sea Devil from Point Pleasant had a good shot of big blues Saturday on the east side of the Mud Hole.

The most valuable bluefish was a 15.94-pounder caught by Eric Hunan of East Setaucket,Long Island to win the WICC Greatest Bluefish Contest on Earth Tournament in Long Island Sound. The winner was weighed at Caraftis Fishing Station in Brookhaven.

Dave Lilly of Hazlet and his Team Esca crew boated 17 large fluke in the depths of Ambrose Channel.

Bruce Vitale of Piscataway was intent on catching a big fluke in Chapel Hill Channel from Funny Pharm, owned by Mike Obuch of Bridgewater. He quickly caught a 20 1/2-incher that was returned since it was a half-inch short of a N.Y. keeper. Everything went downhill from there as the big fluke didn’t cooperate —and we caught only a few small fluke and three dogfish. Most unusual was Obuch’s catch of a small kingfish that was snagged on a fluke rig in Ambrose Channel —the first kingfish I’ve ever seen there.

Fishing after hurricane Earle

Fluke season ends at midnight,Labor Day in both N.J. and N.Y. Dave Lilly and team Esca was out fishing under tough conditions after hurricane Earle riled up the waters team Esca found a way to put some nice fluke in the box . Notice the 2 foot chop in the Shrewsbury river and the two large construction flags{straight out } flying off the construction equipment . Nasty seas ,dirty waters in the ocean but the addition of Esca to our lines enabled fish to find our baits no matter what !
